The Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) was formed in April 2007. The new organisation replaces the former Department of Environment and Conservation NSW and has over 3000 staff in offices across NSW.
DECC brings together a range of conservation and natural resources science and programs, including native vegetation, biodiversity and environmental water recovery to provide an integrated approach to natural resource management.
DECC aims to attract the most skilled and experienced people who will contribute to its continued success.
